Do come to this little bit of paradise. Gary and David really pamper their guests and put everything into being the perfect hosts. Great home cooked meals. Supremely comfortable accommodation in a stunning rural setting. Just go for it!
I stayed with David and Gary as a single traveller in September 2014. They are welcoming and hospitable hosts who take time to ensure their guests wishes are accomodated. Their finca is wonderfully located providing peace and quiet with great views of the mountains from both terraces. Their home is very clean, comfortable and well presented.
The option of good home made evening meals are great value and save on a trip out to town or to the local village of Mogan and allow you the opportunity to get to know your hosts.
I have no hesitation in saying this is a great place to stay if you are looking for a genuine naturist home stay away from the madding crowds. Buses, car, bike and cycle hire are all available locally allowing access to local beaches and neighbouring resorts and Gary provides guided tours of this diverse island should you wish to explore. Local walking routes into the mountains also start close by.
I thoroughly recommend a home stay at rainbow cottage. I have never previously met the hosts but can say they are genuinely nice, caring people. Top marks guys and thanks for a great weeks stay. I intend to return for another stay at a future time.
I stayed at this beautiful Finca in the most beautiful location and also the most fantastic hosts. If you are looking for a home from home then this is definitely the place for you.
Not far from the local bus direct to the Port of Morgan and all the facilities their. I will definitely be returning in the future.
Thanks a million to the hosts David and Gary for making for stay so great.
My partner and I stayed with David and Gary in June 2014. They met us at the airport and took us back the finca. Upon reaching the finca, we were delighted by the location and how beautiful the accommodation was. David and Gary were very welcoming and we really enjoyed spending time with them and getting to know them. They were the perfect hosts and nothing seemed to be any trouble. The finca is in a beautiful quiet location, but still has good access to the main areas of the island, by public transport. The closest is Puerto de Mogan where there is a beautiful beach and many shops and restaurants. For a extra charge Gary also provides day trips to the parts of the island not as easily accessable such as Aguimes and Guayadeque. Both of these places have beautiful architecture including the Restaurant El Centro which is carved out of stone!(although book this as early as possible,as this trip is very popular and Gary gets booked up very quickly). Although this is a clothing optional home, the hosts are very easy going if you wish to stay dressed.
The whole experience was fantastic and we are already planning our return visit. If you want to have beautiful scenery, quiet and peaceful atmosphere but still be able to get to the more touristy areas of the island and wonderful hosts, then this is the place to be. Simon and Dean
I have a wonderful time in the house in the mountains. The men are very nice, the food was great.
The weather was fine. You can if you like that to be naked the whole day. And that was great.
I come back next year.
This B+B is a great choice for anyone looking for a genuine home stay; you will be welcomed into a lovely finca which has been made into a great place for you to share. The setting up on a hill well above the main road makes for lovely views of the valley, and complete freedom to be naked. I chose not to hire a car, though that could easily have been arranged locally if I had changed my mind. The busses run pretty often down to Puerto de Mogan (from there others go along the coast to other resorts, Masaplomas etc) and back, and less frequently the other way right over the mountain to San Nicholas - a trip worth taking just for the ride. There are a few bars and shops about 25 - 35 minutes walk away in Mogan village if you fancy a stroll; just remember that climbing the last 200 yards up the hill to return to the finca is very different compared with strolling down! If you do not plan to dine out every night then the offer of eating with your hosts just makes your break even more relaxing and easy, at modest extra cost for great homemade food (mostly but not exclusively vegetarian). I was lucky enough to be there on a couple of days when the hosts' work schedules meant I could be shown some highlights of this fascinating Island, in terms of beautiful countryside, staggering views, fascinating history, even an invitation into an in-use cave-dwelling which was a thought provoking bonus. If you get the same chance, seize the offer, and if you want to be sure of it then negotiate early once you are in contact with the hosts in order to identify a workable time in your schedule and theirs; you will not get a better, more personalised and interesting guided tour from any routine tourist firm.
This is not a bland hotel stay with 24 hour service, it is the home of charming and hard-working hosts who will give you a warm welcome to their spotless house, and even though you need to be a bit more indecently minded as a result, I genuinely expect that you will be as pleased as me that you chose it. (6 days in March. My first Homestay. No previous knowledge of the hosts. 5 stars!)
